All Saints Chapel
The flag of the Republic of Zambia displayed in the Chapel of St Francis was laid on the high alter of the Cathedral of the Holy Cross at the service of thanks giving and dedication on the attainment of sovereignty and independence on 25th October 1964 and was followed by the prayer below for Zambia:
Prayer for our Country
O God the father of all mankind we beseech thee, so to inspire the people of this land with the spirit of justice, truth and love that in all our dealings one with another we may show forth our brotherhood for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord.
Armed Forces Chapel (All Saints Chapel)
The All Saints Chapel is dedicated to the Armed Forces. Here we commemorate Christian men and women of former generations from every country. Here we pray for the armed forces of our country past and present whose flags are hang in the Chapel and for all Zambians who have served in them. Here we pray for all the departed souls in the communion of Saint.
